Bio

Eliseo "Cheo" Munoz joined the sports medicine staff at Allan Hancock College in 2003. He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis on teaching from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he also served a graduate internship in athletic training.
From 2001-03, Munoz was the graduate assistant at San Jose State University and the head athletic trainer at Scotts Valley High School. He earned a master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from San Jose State University. During his time at San Jose State, Munoz also interned with the sports medicine team serving the San Francisco 49ers.

Munoz is an instructor at Hancock, currently teaching athletic training, and supervises the Student Athletic Training program at Hancock. Munoz is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Far West Athletic Trainers Association, and California Community College Athletic Trainers Association.
