Bio
Avila is in his 19th year as the men’s equipment manager. He has worked at Allan Hancock College for more than 30 years. Avila has also served as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Hancock under the late Coach Sam Vokes.
Avila is a graduate of Righetti High School where he participated in football, basketball and track. Avila has two children, Adrienne and Mike. Danny and his wife, Dana, reside in Santa Maria.
