SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College Director of Athletics, Kim Ensing, has announced that the department will be hosting the 2nd Annual AHC Athletics Final Fore Golf Tournament this spring. Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit the athletic programs at Allan Hancock, serving more than 300 student-athletes participating in 14 California Community College Athletic Association programs. Teams of four will tee off at 12 PM to start the day on the 18-hole course. Appetizers will be provided on the course, along with additional snacks and drinks available for purchase while you play. Later in the day, supporters can join the Bulldogs for dinner and a special viewing party at the clubhouse as they host the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship game on the big screen. Fans that are not interested in playing on the green can skip the course by option for a "Viewing Party Only" ticket package. All participants will have the opportunity to enter our raffle throughout the day for a chance to win numerous prizes, including a pair of Fan Experience tickets to the 2024 NCAA Basketball National Championship.

"The Final Fore Golf Tournament is a great opportunity to celebrate the success of our athletic programs here at Allan Hancock," shared Ensing. "We were thrilled about the support we received at the inaugural event last year and are excited to continue building on that this year. We're looking forward to providing an environment that will allow people to take a break from their daily grind, enjoy the outdoors, and rally around the goal of supporting our efforts of providing a meaningful experience to these athletes."

California's outstanding Central Coast climate, superior facilities, and warm, hospitable membership make the Santa Maria Country Club one of the finest family-oriented private country clubs in the area. The golf course winds its way over 120 acres of magnificently landscaped grounds. The many stately Monterey pines, Cypress trees, ornamental plants, waterfalls, and lakes add to the challenge and scenic beauty of the course, which holds numerous statewide competitions throughout the year.
