AHC's Kenna Wolter Announced as Inductee in RHS Athletic Hall of Fame

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Allan Hancock College head track & field coach, Kenna Wolter, is one of 10 individuals to be inducted into the newest class of the RHS Athletic Hall of Fame, announced by the Righetti Hall of Fame Committee earlier this fall. The 2023-24 inductees were formally announced at the RHS football game on August 18th with a formal induction dinner to follow at a later date.

Wolter, who attended AHC as a student-athlete and was a member of the track & field program herself, is set to enter her fifth season at the helm of the men's and women's track & field programs in 2024. Before returning to Hancock, she spent two seasons working with jumpers as a graduate assistant coach at the University of South Dakota, where she enjoyed a successful collegiate career in the women's triple jump.

She still holds the USD indoor triple jump record with a mark of 41 feet, 9.25 inches, and ranks fifth in the indoor long jump at 19-0.5. Wolter won six conference titles and advanced to two NCAA Preliminary Rounds in her three years with the Coyotes. Wolter finished second at the USATF Indoor National Championships in 2015.

The Righetti alum was an All-CIF selection in the long jump and triple jump, a two-time All-League cross country runner, and a three-year varsity starter on the soccer pitch at the high school level.

Other individuals joining Wolter in the newest class of inductees are Trevor Hutton, Chriss Ridenour, Dutch Van Patten, Randy Hunter, Gamiel Rivers, Andy DeGeus, John Thomas, Andrew Domingues, and Shannon Ward. For additional information, please click here.
