Hancock Baseball Ranked 10th in Pre-Season Poll

Headed into the 2012 season, the Allan Hancock College baseball team is ranked 10th in Southern California in the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association Pre-Season Poll. The team is also ranked 24th in the Junior College Pacific Associations Division Pre-Season poll, covering California, Oregon and Washington.
The Bulldogs finished their 2011 season 12-8 in conference and 21-17 overall and made their third playoff appearance in three years. To cap off a successful season, every sophomore on the 2011 squad transferred to a four-year university.
Hancock starts their 2012 season on Feb. 3 against Compton College, followed by a road game against Santa Ana College, ranked first in the pre-season poll. The team's first home game is Tuesday, Feb. 7 against Bakersfield College.
