Bio

The left-hander was the ace of the pitching staff in 2013 and earned All-Western State Conference First Team honors. He led the Bulldogs in wins, complete games, innings pitched and strikeouts. He went 6-3 with a 2.17 ERA over 11 starts. He tossed 3 complete games, including a 1-hit shutout against Ventura and a 2-hit shutout against rival Cuesta. Thompson also struck out 74 and allowed just 61 hits over 83 innings. He is a criminal justice major.

Thompson was a first team All-League player at Santa Ynez High School.
