Bio
Welker played in 32 games as a freshman at AHC. He hit .265 with 15 RBI. He was a two-time All-League and All-Area catcher at Santa Ynez High School. He is studying to become a physical therapist. He hit .371 his senior season when the Pirates advanced to the CIF quarterfinals.
