Barrick led Santa Ynez high School to the program’s first-ever CIF championship in 2014. He hit .438 with six triples, 23 RBI and scored 36 runs. He was named the Los Padres League’s MVP and earned All-CIF and All-State First Team honors. He hit .375 and earned All-League First team honors as a junior. He plans to transfer to Cal Poly and major in construction management.
