Bio
The right-handed pitcher was a three-year varsity starter at Righetti High School. Kearns was a First Team All-League pitcher for the PAC-7 League champion Warriors. He went 6-2 with a 2.05 ERA his junior season. Kearns went 4-5 with seven complete games with a 2.73 ERA his senior season.
