Martin was an All-Conference First Team pick his freshman year at Cuesta College in 2013. He went 7-5 with seven complete games and a 3.22 ERA. His senior season at Lompoc High School, the left-hander went 11-5 with 10 complete games, four shutouts and 122 strikeouts in 98 innings. He led the Braves to a runner-up finish in CIF and earned All-League, All-CIF and All-State honors. A recreation management major, Martin plans to pursue a professional baseball career.
