Armstrong earned All-Conference honorable mention his freshman season for the Bulldogs. The right-hander went 3-7 with a 3.41 ERA in 14 game. The St. Joseph High School graduate struck out 48 and walked just 17 over 71 1/3 innings. He allowed one run in a complete game win against Oxnard, and threw eight shutout innings in his next start against Porterville. He also had two hits in five at-bats last season. Throwing a no hitter against Arroyo Grande his senior season is his favorite sports memory. He plans to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
