Hancock Baseball Climbs into Regional Rankings at No. 12, Tuesday's Game Rescheduled for Friday Due to Rain

Off to an 11-9 start, including 10-0 at home, the Allan Hancock College baseball team entered the latest South Regional Poll released this week by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBCA). The Bulldogs received 118 points in the voting to rank No. 12 in the South.  Hancock was unranked in the preseason poll.

The top-five ranked teams in the South are Saddleback (16-3), Cerritos (18-3), Riverside (15-5), Palomar (14-7) and Orange Coast (11-7).  Three teams that compete with Hancock in the Western State Conference's North Division are also ranked among the South's Top 20 this week: No. 14 Santa Barbara (11-9), No. 17 Cuesta (10-8) and No. 18 Moorpark (11-8).

Hancock's conference game, scheduled for Tuesday, March 13, at Oxnard was rescheduled due to the rain for Friday, March 16 at 2:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs play at 2:30 p.m. at Moorpark on Thursday, March 15, before hosting the Raiders on Saturday, March 17 at 1 p.m.
