Bio

Allen joins Hancock as the pitching coach after a successful run as head coach of the varsity baseball team at Lompoc High School. The Braves qualified for the CIF playoffs in 15 of Allen’s 16 years at the helm and won six league titles. Allen led the Braves to the CIF quarterfinals in 2010, the Division 5 championship game in 2011 and the CIF semifinals in 2012. Allen finished with more than 225 career wins with the Braves.

Allen has spent the last several summers serving as head coach of the Santa Maria Valley Packers, a summer collegiate baseball team.

Allen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, San Bernardino, and a master’s in education from California Baptist University.
