Despite sitting out the last four games of the 2009 season due to injury, Cathcart was a second team All-Conference receiver. He averaged 60 receiving yards per game and was an All-CIF and All-State All-Purpose player at St. Joseph High School. Cathcart has already earned an associate degree in business.
