Thirty-Six Student-Athletes Named to Deans' List for Spring 2015

Thirty-six student-athletes made the Deans' List during the 2015 spring semester at Allan Hancock College. Students who completed 12 or more units and received grade point averages of 3.5 to 3.99 received Deans' Honors. Eleven student-athletes received Special Honors for 4.0 grade point averages in the spring.

Seven players from both the baseball and softball programs made the Deans' List. Four women's volleyball players, four men's soccer players, as well as three athletes each on the football and men's track and field teams earned 3.5 grade point averages or higher. Two men's golfers, two swimmers, two women's soccer players, as well as two women's basketball players were also recognized.

The list of athletes included six graduates from both Pioneer Valley and Lompoc high schools, four from Cabrillo High School, four from Righetti High School, two from Nipomo and Santa Maria high schools, as well as one student-athlete who graduated from Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Templeton, St. Joseph and Santa Ynez high schools.

The student-athletes named to the Deans' List are listed below by sport with their high schools in parenthesis. The athletes who earned 4.0 grade point averages to receive Special Honors are in bold.
