Former Bulldog Artis-Payne Scores First Touchdown of Season on Monday Night Football

Former Allan Hancock College All-American Cameron Artis-Payne scored his first touchdown of the season during Monday Night Football. The third-year running back barreled through the line for a 12-yard touchdown run as the Carolina Panthers defeated the Miami Dolphins 45-21 on Monday. The Panthers improved to 7-3, while Miami fell to 4-5. The touchdown run was the fourth of his NFL career. To watch the run, click here.

Artis-Payne Artis-Payne was a fifth round draft pick in the 2015 NFL by the Panthers. He was the first former Hancock football player drafted since Sheldon Canley in 1991. Artis-Payne holds Hancock records for most career rushing yards (3,412), career touchdowns (43), most rushing yards in a single-season (2,048) and most touchdowns in a single-season (25).
