BULLDOGS BLOWOUT SANTA MONICA COLLEGE, FOR 5TH STRAIGHT WIN

The Bulldogs dominated Santa Monica College on Saturday, putting up 52 points and leaving the Corsairs scoreless.

From the opening kick it was apparent that Hancock's running attack would be virtually unstoppable. That, coupled with dominant defensive effort, made for a long day for the opposing Corsairs.

Sophomore running back Ryheem Skinner led the offensive charge with 116-yards and 2 touchdowns. Freshman running back Jayden Vargas chipped in with 108-yards and a touchdown of his own. But it was truly a team effort, with 7 players combining for 418 total rushing yards.

Freshman quarterback, Steven Schouten stepped in nicely, getting the start with Thomas Carr out due to injury.

Equally as impressive as the offense was the Bulldogs defensive effort, only allowing 116 total yards and shutting out SMC.

Freshman safety Raymond Paulo led the way with 10 tackles and a sack. The Bulldogs combined for 7 sacks for the game.

The Bulldogs are on a 5-game winning streak and will host rival Santa Barbara City College during their Military Appreciation Game on Oct. 27. Kick-off is at 2pm.
