Hancock Heads to El Camino Tournament of Champions

After a bye week, the men's basketball team returns to action at the El Camino College Tournament of Champions on Thursday.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked ninth in the SoCal Regional Preseason Coaches Poll, seek their first win of the season. Hancock fell 76-60 to Chaffey, the fourth ranked team in the state, before falling to Mendocino 70-66 at the Cuesta/Rabobank Invitational earlier this month. Lavell White led the Bulldogs in both games with 16 points against Chaffey and 21 against Mendocino. Lawrence Johnson added 10 and 11 points, while Kadeem Minor scored 14 against Mendocino.

Santa Ana enters the tournament 2-1 with wins over Barstow and L.A. Pierce, but a six-point loss to Rio Hondo.
