An 18-3 run in the second half and a career night from Andre Miller led the Allan Hancock College men's basketball team to a 68-52 win at Cerritos College on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs improved to 2-4 overall in the preseason, while the host Falcons dropped to 1-4.

Hancock led by as many as 11 points (30-19) in the first half and carried a 30-24 lead into halftime. Hancock saw its lead cut to one-point barely 80 seconds into the second half. Lavell White scored 13 points, while Minor added 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. Arinze Anakwenze added six rebounds and four points, while WIlkomm finished with six points.

Hancock hit 33 percent of its shots from the floor (19-57) and eight of 21 from three-point range (38.1%). The Bulldogs sealed the win from the free throw line where they made 22 of 24 for a 91.7 percent clip. Hancock outrebounded the Falcons 45-36 and limited Cerritos to 32 percent shooting from the floor (18-56). Hancock turned the ball over 13 times, compared to 12 by the Falcons. The Bulldogs compiled 10 second chance-points to the Falcons' zero.

Hancock returns to action on December 5 when the Bulldogs host Porterville at 5 p.m. in their home opener.
