Bio

Carney started 22 of Hancock’s 29 games last season. He averaged 12 points and 3.3 assists per game as a freshman for the Bulldogs. He hit his career high in points with 21 against L.A. Pierce and had back to back double-doubles against Oxnard and Santa Barbara. In high school, Carney helped lead Narbonne High to a league title and CIF quarterfinals appearance his senior year. He was named to the All-City First Team and the league’s Most Valuable Player after averaging 20 points per game. He is majoring in business and hopes to transfer to a four-year university to continue his basketball and academic careers.
