Bio

Sims was an All-League football and basketball player at Lompoc High School. He scored 31 points and was named the Most Valuable Player in Kiwanis All-Star Game that featured the top seniors on the Central Coast.  He was also named the Los Padres League’s Most Valuable Player in football. The quarterback threw for 1,507 yards and 15 touchdowns, and rushed for 1,830 yards and 27 touchdowns combined when he led the Braves to back-to-back league titles. One of his favorite sports memories is hitting a buzzer-beater in high school. The business major plans to transfer to a four-year university to continue both his athletic and academic careers.
