Register Today for Hancock Basketball's Summer Youth Clinic

Registration is under way for a summer youth clinic offered by the Allan Hancock college men's basketball team. The clinic will run from Monday, August 7, through Thursday, August 10, inside Joe White Memorial Gymnasium on the college's Santa Maria campus. Instruction will take place from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The clinic is open to all kids, ages 8 to 17.

"We want to keep infusing the community with excitement about basketball and Hancock," said Aye, who recently completed his fourth season as head coach of the Bulldogs. "Last year, more than 100 area kids attended our clinics. We want the tradition of kids playing and watching basketball in our gym year-round to continue."

Aye, his coaching staff and players will teach kids of all skill levels the basics of the game and further develop their skills. In the last three months, five of Aye's former players have signed scholarships to continue playing for four-year universities, including a pair of Division I programs.

To register children for the clinics, sign up at the gym prior to the start of a clinic, or visit athletics.hancockcollege.edu/camps/basketball_camps. The cost for a child to attend a session is $85. Make checks payable to AHC Men's Basketball.
