Registration Continues for Hancock's Summer Youth Basketball Camp

Parents looking this summer to keep their children active, especially those interested in basketball, still have time to register children for a summer youth clinic put on by Allan Hancock College's men's basketball program. The camp runs from Monday, August 6, through Thursday, August 9, in Joe White Memorial Gymnasium on the college's Santa Maria campus.

Kids, ages eight to 17 years of age, will receive instruction from Hancock coaches and players from 9 AM to noon each day.

The cost is $85 per child. Payment is due on the first day of camp. Checks can be made payable to AHC Men's Basketball. A parent or guardian must also sign a waiver in order for a child to participate in the camp. Parents and guardians can register online and access the waiver by clicking here.

The men's basketball team is coming off its finest season in decades. Under Head Coach Tyson Aye, the Bulldogs finished the season 23-10 overall and advanced to the Elite Eight of the CCCAA State Tournament for the first time in 44 seasons.
