Frightmare Forest Returning in October

Frightmare Forest Returning in October

The fourth annual event raises funds for Hancock's basketball teams.

Prepare for a night of fright as the men's basketball program hosts the third annual "Frightmare Forest" haunted maze. The event is a fundraiser for Hancock's basketball programs.

The maze is located in the college's baseball and softball complex and is adjacent to the vineyard off College Drive.

Maze runners brave enough to enter the eerie, three-acre labyrinth will navigate their way through an entanglement of tricks and spooky surprises. Each participant will receive a color-coded wristband to forewarn Frightmare workers to scare or scale back.

Frightmare Forest will run from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings from October 19-20, 26-27 and Wednesday, October 31. Maze runners are invited and encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Tickets for the maze are $10 per person. Proceeds will be used for equipment, travel and other expenses related to running the men's and women's basketball programs.

Free parking and the entrance to the maze are located at the baseball and softball complex.
