Burrola Finishes Sixth and Bulldogs Fifth Overall at WSC No. 8

Adam Burrola fired a two-over 74 to finish sixth in the individual standings and help the Allan Hancock College men's golf team finish fourth during the eighth Western State Conference tournament of the season at Spring Valley Lake Country Club in Victorville.

Elliot Bourke and Jett Rugg fired eight-over 80s for the Bulldogs, while Bryan Tran and Derrick Neiman carded 84s on the day

Canyons finished first with a team score of 368 to win its sixth conference tournament of the season. Santa Barbara finished second with 385, followed by Glendale in third with 391 and Ventura in fourth with 397. Hancock and Bakersfield tied for fifth with 402, followed by Antelope Valley in seventh with 430, Victor Valley in eighth with 442 and Citrus in ninth with a score of 452.

Canyons' Justin Buenaventura and Jones Comerford shot the lowest rounds of the day with a 72.

Hancock will host the next conference tournament on Monday, April 2, at the Santa Maria Country Club.
