Burrola Cards a 73, Hancock Finishes Fourth at WSC #10

Sophomore Adam Burrola shot a 1-over 73 to finish seventh overall and lead the Allan Hancock College men's golf team to a fourth-place finish during the tenth Western State Conference tournament of the season at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course on Monday.

Canyons won the nine-team tournament with an 8-under 352. The Cougars had the two lowest scorers in Michael Lindgren at 4-under 68 and Clay Kucera. All five of their scoring players shot 72 or lower. Ventura finished second with a total score of 387, followed by Santa Barbara with 388 and Hancock in fourth with 396.

Om addition to Burrola's 73, freshmen Jett Rugg and Elliot Bourke both fired four-over 76s/ Bryan Tran carded an 11-over 83 and Josiah Sanchez shot an 88.

Hancock travels to Llano next Monday for the 36-hole Western State Conference Finals at the Crystalaire Country Club.
