Bulldogs Get Third Straight Victory After Win Against Citrus College

Allan Hancock College's men's soccer team rallied on the road to win 3-2 against Citrus College on Sept. 29. The Bulldogs improve to 8-2-1 on the season and are ranked 1st in the Western State Conference North Division. 

Citrus took the early lead in the first half with two goals scored by Sergio Gonzalez, however Hancock answered back with three goals in the second half. Isaac Valdez found Migel Gomez for a goal in the 25th minute. Gomez assisted on Ulysses Cardona's goals, which came in the 49th and the 69th minute. Goalkeeper Antony Herrera increased his saved goal total to 33. 

The Bulldogs are amid their second three-game winning streak of the season. Gomez and Cardona lead the Bulldogs in points with 24 and 17, respectively. Gomez leads the state in assists with 12, while Cardona is ranked second in the Western State Conference North Division with seven goals on the season. 

The Bulldogs finish non-conference play as they host Glendale Community College on Friday, Oct. 6, at 4 p.m.
