M. Soccer: Bulldogs Set to Face No. 12 Team in the Country

The Hancock College men's soccer team will play their toughest non-conference game of the season, as they go up against the Cerritos Falcons this Friday 9/20/18.

Cerritos is on a 4-game winning streak and is currently sitting tops in the South Coast Conference – South Division. The Falcons are coming off of a big win against Taft College, who they faced in the CCCAA State Championship final four last season.

"We're young but we are up for the challenge," said Head Coach Billy Vinnedge. "In order to be the best, you have to play against the best" And that's why you schedule games like this. We're ready!"

Last Tuesday, the Bulldogs had nice win of their own defeating West Hills Lemoore 5-3 last Tuesday. Sophomore forward Ulysses Cardona, from Lompoc High School, led the Bulldogs with 3 goals against West Hills and is currently leading the Bulldogs with 7 goals on the season.

Game time is set for this Friday at 5 p.m.
