Track & Field Opens Season at Battle of the Regions
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College track & field program opened the 2022 campaign at the Battle of the Regions, hosted by Bakersfield College, on Friday afternoon. | FULL RESULTS
The men's team was led by a pair of runner up marks from Ramses Valencia and Avery Fondern in the 100m and 200m races, respectively. The 4x100m relay and the 4x400m relay teams also performed well with 3rd place finishes. On the women's side, Lilianna Soto earned the program's best mark on the day with a 6th place finish in the long jump. Kiana San Juan notched a 7th place performance in the 100m dash and a 9th place finish in the 200m race.
The Bulldogs will return to action on Friday, February 18th, with a trip to Antelope Valley College to compete in the WSC Relays.
