Five Bulldogs Pick Up All-WSC Honors for Softball
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock Colleg program had five student-athletes tabbed as all-conference selections for the northern division of the Western State Conference at the conclusion of the regular season.
Kaylee Dolores headlined the group after being honored as a First Team All-Conference Selection. The sophomore, who picked up a Second Team nod last season, closed out her sophomore campaign with a team-best batting average of .407 and 16 RBIs through 26 games played. Dolores also led the team with 15 stolen bases and boasts a .922 fielding percentage on 103 total chances.
Havanah Michel followed with a Second Team All-Conference nod. The freshman pitcher registered five wins and one save in the circle, which included one no-hitter and two complete-game shutouts. The Santa Maria native twirled a total of 136.1 innings while earning 20 starts in 25 appearances.
Dezirae Rodriguez, Tori Salazar, and Khaelii Robertson-Mack rounded out the honorees after landing on the All-Conference Honorable Mention list.
The Bulldogs ended the season with an overall record of 9-19 while going 5-9 against WSC foes for a sixth place ranking in the league standings.
