Bio

Martinez played in 26 games as a freshman for the Hancock women’s basketball team in 2015-16. She averaged 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs. She scored a career-high 11 points against Los Medanos.  Winning the Cuesta Tournament title last season is her favorite sports memory. She was an All-League player for the state championship basketball team at A.J. Dimond High School in Alaska.  An all-around athlete, she played on three state championship flag football teams. Martinez is fluent in Japanese and interested in a career as an architectural engineer or interior designer.
