Four Lady Bulldogs Score All-Conference Honors, Including Three Voted to First Team

Four Allan Hancock College women's basketball players, who guided the Bulldogs to their third straight winning season and best conference record in 17 years, scored all-conference recognition from opposing coaches. Karly Beyers, Grace Rosa and Taylor Lee-Hammer were named to the All-Western State Conference First team. Hannah Walls received honorable mention.
With this season's 15-11 overall record, the Bulldogs recorded their third straight winning season under Head Coach Cary Nerelli. The last time Hancock strung together three consecutive winning seasons was between the 1992-93 and 1994-95 seasons. The Bulldogs finished third in the Western State Conference's North Division with a 7-3 record, the program's first winning conference record since the 2000-01 campaign.

Rosa finished the season averaging a team-high 14.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, ranking fourth and fifth in the conference. She recorded six double-doubles this season and 10 during her Bulldog career. The Paso Robles High School graduate averaged 13.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game combined over the last two years. Rosa received honorable mention as a freshman.

Lee-Hammer averaged 13.8 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Bulldogs, ranking fifth and fourth all conference players this year. In 53 total games with Hancock, Lee-Hammer averaged 13.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game and shot 40.4 percent from long-range. The Colorado native also earned first team recognition last season.

Beyers ranked third in conference with 3.8 assists per game, sixth with 7.9 rebounds per game and ninth with 12.5 points per contest. Beyers, a Pioneer Valley High School graduate, compiled six double-doubles this season. During her two-year career for the Bulldogs, she averaged 11 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, and shot 36.5 percent from 3-point range.

Walls averaged 6.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game for the Bulldogs as a sophomore. The Valley Christian Academy graduate recorded three double-doubles.
