Women's Basketball: Gudeman Commits to Four Year University

Allan Hancock College staff, local media, coaches, and nearly the entire women's basketball team showed up to give support in the Bulldogs first Zoom signing of the year. Sarah Gudeman was honored as she signed her letter of intent to play at University of Maine at Fort Kent. Gudeman played a pivotal role in the Bulldog's play-off run averaging 8.2 rebounds, 4.4 points, and 2.4 assists per game this year.

Allan Hancock College Athletic Director Kim Ensing intorduced Sarah and gave her a moment to say a few words. Gudeman thanked her coaches new and old as well as her teammates and talked about her excitement for the next step in her journey. Allan Hancock College Women's Basketball Head Coach Cary Nerelli spoke next and reflected on her leadership skills and how Sarah created a template for next year's women's basketball team. University of Maine at Fort Kent Women's Basketball Head Coach Coach Fletcher Brown talked about their excitement bringing Gudeman into the program. Following the coaches, local media was given a block of time to ask questions. To wrap up the session, Sarah's teammates each took a moment to say a few words about their teammate.
