Bio

Copeland was named to the All-Conference Second Team in fall 2016 for the Hancock women’s water polo team. She led the team with 65 goals to go with 20 assists and 34 steals. She moved to the Central Coast from South Africa in 2015. She competed in water polo, swimming and waveski at Clarendon Girls’ High School in East London, South Africa. She was co-captain of her water polo team, and received the most dedicated and best sportsmanship awards.  Leading her team to a national waveski championship is her favorite sports memory. She is interested in becoming a marine biologist.
