Nevitt returns to defend her 2016 Western State Conference title in the women’s shot put. The Nipomo High School graduate also participated in the 2016 CCCAA State Meet. She finished eighth in the state in the shot put and tenth in the discus throw. Nevitt’s personal-best marks are 40 feet, 8 inches in the shot put, 134-3 in the discus throw, 85-1 in the javelin throw, and 109-6 in the hammer throw. Nevitt also played volleyball in 2015 and 2016 for the Hancock volleyball team. She was an All-League student-athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track at Nipomo High School. She is a psychology major.
