Hancock Volleyball Fans Get in Free to Last Home Game
It’s going to be a big night for the Allan Hancock College women’s volleyball team as the Bulldogs celebrate Fan Appreciation Night and Sophomore Night at the Nov. 13 game against Santa Barbara City College.

The game starts at 7 p.m. and in honor of Fan Appreciation Night all Bulldog fans will get into the game free of charge. Fans in attendance will also be automatically entered into a drawing to win free sandwiches from Jersey Mike’s Subs in Santa Maria.

The Nov. 13 game is also the team’s last home game of the season and a chance to say goodbye to six sophomores: Staci McCracken (Santa Maria, Ca), Brisha Ogan (Lompoc, Ca), Anakela Francisco (Santa Maria, Ca), Traci Voelker (Santa Maria, Ca), Catherine Sepulveda (Nipomo, Ca) and Miriam Malae (Lompoc, CA). The women will be honored with a brief ceremony highlighting their volleyball careers here at Hancock.

“This is my second year coaching volleyball at Hancock and these athletes have been with me since the beginning,” said volleyball head coach Julio Molina. “They’ve been a big part of the volleyball program that I’ve been working to create at Allan Hancock College.”

Molina said that all of these sophomores have worked hard in practice and encouraged each other on and off the court this season.

“They’ve all been a pleasure to work with,” he said.

The Bulldogs play their last game of the 2009 season on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Cuesta College.
