Youth Players Get in Free to Volleyball Game This Saturday
            Parents, coaches and fans, you’re invited to the Allan Hancock College women’s volleyball game this Saturday Sept. 18. In honor of youth volleyball players all over the Central Coast, youth players will get into the game free of charge. The Bulldogs will be playing the West Valley College Vikings in the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium at 9 a.m.
Youth athletes will get a chance to see college volleyball played up close and even meet some of the team members, including Paso Robles native Sadie DeQuattro (Paso Robles, CA) who was recently named ESPN Radio Athlete of the week for her performance in the team’s match against Chaffey College. DeQuattro led the team in assists with 41 and blocks with three and also managed 26 digs and two kills.
The 2010 women’s volleyball squad has players from all over the Central Coast and includes representatives from Pioneer Valley, Nipomo, Righetti, Cabrillo and Paso Robles high schools.
