Three Hancock Volleyball Players Earn All-Conference Honors

Allan Hancock College women's volleyball player Kennedy Klusendorf has been named to the All-Western State Conference Second Team, while Alyse Carson and Caitlin Maltbie received honorable mention.

Klusendorf, a freshman outside hitter, led the team 186 kills, 204 digs and 25 service aces. The Righetti High School graduate tallied a career-high 26 kills in a four-set match against Imperial Valley in September. Klusendorf recorded 10 or more kills in 10 matches this season for the Bulldogs. She also had a season-best 22 digs against Cuesta.

Carson, a sophomore outside hitter, ranked second on the team with 89 kills and 198 digs. The Orcutt Academy graduate fired off a career-best 11 kills against Ventura. Carson also had 11 matches with 11 or more digs.

Maltbie played in 12 matches this season and led the team with 180 assists. The freshman setter had a career-best 31 assists against Imperial Valley. The Nipomo High School graduate also had 73 digs this season.
