Four Bulldogs Named to All-Conference Teams

Four Allan Hancock College women's volleyball players have been recognized for their play and named to the all-conference team. Sophomore libero Bella Albano was named to the All-Western State Conference First Team. Freshman outside hitter Gwen Menane earned a spot on the second team, while sophomore Amiee Domingues and freshman Saisha Kahae-Spencer received honorable mention.

Albano led the Bulldogs with 273 digs, averaging 4.88 per set. The Nipomo High School graduate compiled a season-best 26 digs against West Los Angeles and 24 in the Bulldogs' win over Contra Costa. She received honorable mention as a freshman after she recorded 128 digs. Albano finished her Hancock career with 401 digs.

Menane was Hancock's leading hitter with 133 kills to go with 167 digs, which ranked third most on the team. The Nipomo High School product recorded a season-high 22 kills and 20 digs in a four-set loss to West Los Angeles. She finished with 11 kills and 10 digs in Hancock's 3-0 win over Contra Costa.

Domingues, who was a second team pick in 2017, received honorable mention in 2018 after she recorded 37 kills, 21 digs, and 17 blocks. The St. Joseph High School graduate tallied a season-high five kills against Ventura.

Kahae-Spencer led Hancock with 137 assists and her 180 digs ranked second on the squad. The Santa Maria High School graduate compiled a season-high 31 assists and 17 digs against West L.A. She recorded 24 digs against Santa Barbara City College.
