Bio

Molina begins his eleventh season as the head women’s volleyball coach at Allan Hancock College. He was named the Western State Conference volleyball coach of the year for his efforts at Hancock in 2010 after the Bulldogs finished fifth in conference and 9-14 overall.

Molina started as a junior varsity head coach at Mission Prep High in 2003, and then moved to San Luis Obispo High School as the varsity assistant for the 2004 season. After a year in Fresno as a varsity assistant at Fresno Christian, Molina became the junior varsity head coach at St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria in August 2006. Molina also currently works with the Central Coast Volleyball Club, assisting with clinics and youth development.

Molina played at Cal Poly on a club team from 2002 to 2004 that finished in the top four at the NIRSA Club Volleyball Nationals. Before that he was a varsity member at North Hollywood High where he was a member of the 2000 CIF Los Angeles City Section Championship team.

Molina graduated from Cal Poly in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He also holds a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University.
