Hancock Cross Country Takes Sixth at Tour de Cuesta

Alina Delabra led the way for the Bulldogs, as the team took 6^th place at the Tour de Cuesta Cross Country Invitational. The meet took place at the Fairbanks Course in San Luis Obispo on Oct. 6. Delabra finished 28^th overall with a time of 24:26.6. 

The team finished with an average time of 27:04. "It was a pretty good finish for us," said Hancock cross country head coach Louie Quintana. 

The rest of the team finished in the top 50. Cherry Inay (36^th), Elisa Garcia (41^st), Susana Vazquez (43^rd), Yadira Castellanos (47^th) and Mireya Lopez Martinez (48^th). 

The Bulldogs head to Kern County Park in Bakersfield for the Western State Conference Finals. The meet starts at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 20.
