Bio
Lopez returns to the Hancock cross country team after she ran a season-best time of 27:05 during the 2017 Western State Conference Championships as a freshman. The Bulldogs finished 10th at the meet to qualify as a team for the Southern California Regionals for the first time in nine years. Lopez-Martinez ran track and cross country at Santa Maria High School. She was the team captain her senior season. She is a kinesiology major and plans to become a teacher.
