Bulldog Baseball Still On Top and Ready for a Road Trip
With their 6-1 win over Bakersfield College on Feb. 22 the Bulldogs improved to 7-2 and are ranked at the top of the Western State Conference for the third week in a row.
Sophomore Jordan Sechler (St. Joseph)pitched the win against Bakersfield, throwing a five-hiiter through eight innings. He improved to 2-0 so far this season. Shortstop Dalton Rouleau (Lompoc) scored two runs and had two hits and one RBI. Austin Nyman (Reno), Jake Fields (Newbury Park), Jacob Cano (St. Joseph) and Beau Davis (Douglas, NV) each scored one run.
Hancock is on the road on Thursday Feb. 24 aganst Cypress College, currently 6-1, and will face them again Sunday Feb. 26. Between playing Citrus, the Bulldogs will face Fullerton, currently 4-3 on Friday, Feb. 25.
