Bio

Gasca was named to the All-League First Team his senior season at Lompoc High School. The left-handed pitcher went 3-5 with a 3.05 ERA and 65 strikeouts over 52 1/3 innings pitched. He struck out seven in a complete game 8-0 win over Orcutt Academy. Gasca struck out a season-high 10 over 6 2/3 innings in the Braves’ 4-3 win over Carpinteria in the first round of the CIF playoffs. He also hit .279 with 10 RBI at the plate. He plans to major in sociology.
