Anthony Garcia Signs with MACU

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Baseball pitcher Anthony Garcia has signed with Mid-America Christian University (MACU) to continue his academic and athletic career at the next level. Garcia, a Recreation Management student at AHC, plans to major in Business and Sports Administration at his next stop. 

The right-handed product of Pioneer Valley High School appeared on the bump for the Bulldogs in 2019, 2020, and 2021. In his freshman season, Garcia appeared in relief for the Bulldogs after punching out four batters through 4.2 innings. He collected 15 strikeouts through 22.1 innings of work and totaled a 2.82 ERA in 2020. During the abbreviated 2021 season, Garcia notched five strikeouts through 7.1 innings. In total, he racked up 24 strikeouts through 33.4 innings of work while in a Bulldogs uniform. 

MACU, located in Oklahoma City, is a member of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and belongs to the Sooner Athletic Conference. They also compete as a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
