PLAYOFF BOUND: Baseball Set to Host Southwestern for First Postseason Appearance Since 2014

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College baseball team, who finished the regular season in third place amongst Western State Conference (North) foes, has qualified to compete in the Southern California Regional Tournament for the first time since the 2014 season. | FULL BRACKET

The Bulldogs drew hosting rights for round one after being tabbed as the No. 10 team with an overall record of 27-13. They will face off against No. 15-seeded Southwestern College, who finished the regular season as the runner-up in the Pacific Coast Conference while boasting an overall record of 22-17. The two teams will compete in a best-of-three series at John Osborne Field, beginning with game one on May 5th at 3 PM. The first pitch of game two is set for 11 AM on Saturday, May 6th, with an if-necessary game three anticipated to begin around 2 PM. The winner of the regional series will advance to the SoCal Super Regionals for double elimination action on May 11-13. 

Single-game are now available at ahcbulldogs.com/ticketing. Per the CCCAA guidelines, ticket prices are as follows: Adults - $12, Students - $8, Senior Citizens - $8, and Children (6+) - $8. Children under the age of six receive free admission. Please note that the ticketing gate is cashless and that season and/or conference passes are not valid for postseason events. Animals, other than service animals, are not permitted at the venue.
