We're bringing back a few favorites and adding new events to the 2010 Allan Hancock College football season.
Sept. 4-at Santa Barbara City College- Gridiron Grill Off
If you make the road trip, we'll make it worth your while. Show up early and take part in the first ever Gridiron Grill Off, where it's the Bulldogs versus the Vaqueros in a tri-tip cook off. Tickets will be available to fans, and with each ticket you get a vote! Stop by and make sure you vote for the original Santa Maria-style tri-tip. Check back for more information and ticket prices.
Sept. 11-Home opener versus Pasadena City College.
Join us for the first home game of the season. The first home game is the warmest game of the year! Take advantage of the weather and helps us start off the season in Santa Maria.
Sept. 25-Youth Football Night
All youth football players, wear your jersey and get into the game free! From the little guys to high school players, we'll see you there!
Oct. 16-Students vs. Faculty and Staff Flag Football Game
It's nothing but pure entertainment for sports fans to watch the staff of Allan Hancock College face off against the students in this no-holds-barred flag football game. The students will be looking for payback for the trampling they received at the hands of the staff last season. You won't want to miss this half time contest.
Oct. 23-Military Appreciation Night
Veterans and active service members, this game is for you. Get into the game free and join us for the pre-game bbq. There will be a special tribute to the military at halftime.
Nov. 13-Celebration of the 1960 AHC Football Team
This is a special event and not to be missed! Football fans, this is your chance to be a part of Bulldog past and present as we honor the members of the undefeated 1960 Allan Hancock College football team. Members and coaches from the legendary team will join us for a special halftime presentation.
We hope you can make it to every home game this season! As always, check the website for more information on these special events.
