Football Team Looking for Win on the Road Against Moorpark
The Bulldogs are looking for a win on the road on Saturday Sept. 18 as the Bulldogs travel to Moorpark College. Hancock is coming off of a loss game against Pasadena City College last weekend that made the team’s record 1-1 this season. Hancock is still ranked 19th in the California Community College Football Coaches Association Poll.
The Moorpark Raiders are 0-2 after a 22-44 loss against Ventura Sept. 4 and a heartbreaking 36-38 loss against Los Angeles Pierce on Sept. 11. Since 1956, Hancock and Moorpark have played 27 times and the Bulldogs have won 13 of those games. In 2009, the Bulldogs beat the Raiders 62-28 at home. Moorpark ended the 2009 season with a 0-10 record.
