Hancock Football Ranked 7th in SCFA Poll, 1st in Conference

        The Allan Hancock College football team is headed into the weekend ranked seventh in the California Community College State Football Poll. The Bulldogs are currently 3-0 and lead the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) in scoring with 132 points, an average of 44 per game. The Bulldogs are currently the number one team in the SCFA National Northern Conference.  

       
          The Bulldogs are ranked third in the SCFA in rushing with an average of 245 yards per game and fourth in pass efficiency. Freshman Cameron Artis-Payne (Harrisburg) is ranked fourth in rushing with 383 total yards and second in scoring, with 42 points. Freshman Shane Henderson (Columbus East) is ranked fifth in receiving yards with an average of 109 per game.

              
           Hancock travels to Glendale College on Saturday, Sept. 24. Glendale is currently 3-0. Last season Hancock beat Glendale at home 44-28.
