Hancock Football Returns Home, Hosts No. 11 Chaffey Saturday

The Allan Hancock College football team returns home to host Chaffey (2-0), the 11th ranked team in the state on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. Hancock will hold Youth Football Day where kids wearing their football jerseys get into the game for free, while one adult accompanying the child gets a ticket for $3, or half-off regular admission.

The Bulldogs will be playing in the second on-campus home football game in program history. Two weeks ago, the Bulldogs crushed Santa Ana 67-21 in front of an estimated 1,600 people at Hancock Football Stadium. The 67 points represented the third-highest scoring output in program history.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 21-20 loss at Santa Barbara City College which dropped Hancock out of the state poll. Last week, the Bulldogs jumped to No. 22 in the state for the program's first state ranking in nearly three years.
